Dear Gloria and Mike,

Just wanted to let you both know that I am thinking of you on this glorious Saturday night. I just drove back from PA today, and not only saw the splendor of food growing in the fields, but of apples growing on the trees, ripening, growing, living. Summer is a time of harvest (corn, peaches, berries, vegetables) and a time of growing. It made me think of you. None of us knows when we will be harvested, but by God, we can certainly enjoy the living. And I think you have a lot of living to do! Enjoy the ride.
